This photo doesn't look much like him, can't we find a better one? Richard75 (talk) 23:07, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I think the previous one was better. Schazjmd (talk) 23:18, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That lasted 23 hours and 10 minutes: [1]. You need to update the caption when you change the picture. Truc Bizarre (talk) 03:30, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The opening paragraph of this page says Brad Pitt has one two Academy Awards, but he's only won one. Ashleythewriter (talk) 15:25, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done... according to List of awards and nominations received by Brad Pitt, he wontwo, one as director, a second as actor. - Adolphus79 (talk) 16:24, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Why has the Scientology section been removed. Poor sourcing?

[edit]

Scientology

[edit]

Pitt had a multi-year engagement with Scientology in the '90s before denouncing it.[1] He was introduced to it by his then girlfriend, Juliette Lewis [2], who has also since left the cult and now says she no longer identifies as a Scientologist but as "spiritual" [3][4].

It was removed by a vanished editor here. The edit summary explains that the sources are merely reporting on what The Sun (which is a deprecated source) published. The NYT and WaPo sources don't say anything about Pitt and Scientology. Schazjmd (talk) 14:05, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

good enough? NotQualified (talk) 14:09, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The Mirror (a tabloid) is re-reporting what Page Six (another tabloid, one considered generally unreliable on wikipedia) wrote. All of these tabloid articles are based on what one anonymous person claimed. Unless reliable sources mention Pitt and Scientology, it seems to me to be undue to add to this article.
